Brewster stereoscope is a commonly used binocular vision training instrument. It separations the eyes from eyes to eyes by using the diaphragm, and binocular gaze targets are the same shape, which is convenient for binocular image fusion. The eyes of two eyes observe the target of 20cm from the positive lens of +5.00D. The dispersion of the target light is offset by the degree of polymerization of the lens. Moving the fixation target closer to the observation eye can quantitatively increase the accommodation stimulus and quantitatively stimulate the accommodative convergence. The fixation pictures of both eyes can be cross separated or separated in the same direction at different regulatory set levels, so as to train the positive and negative fusional convergence. 

1.Visual Rehabilitation Training Of Binocular Convergence Function:

① Fix the training card board at the "0" position of the scale, adjust the comfortable angle, and the forehead is close to the support.            

② Place the convergence training card on the card board, cover the left eye, and the right R and image can be seen in the right eye; Cover the right eye and see the left L and image in the left eye.            

③ Ask the patient to look at the image on the upper part of the card and fuse it into a single and clear image for 5 ~ 10 seconds, and then let the patient look at the image on the lower part and fuse it. The observed phenomenon is the same as that on the upper part of the card.            

④ The upper and lower images are fused alternately. After each image is fused, it is maintained for 5 ~ 10 seconds and fused alternately for 5 ~ 10 times. In this process, a single clear image is always maintained, and the floating feeling is gradually enhanced with the increase of fixation time. 

2.Visual Rehabilitation Training Of Binocular Divergence Function:

The steps of visual rehabilitation training of binocular divergence function are the same as those of visual rehabilitation training of binocular convergence function, except that the training card used in visual rehabilitation training of divergence function is a series of divergence cards.

Indications: Binocular convergence and divergence dysfunction, anti inhibition, low fusional convergence function.
